If I had realized that, I probably would have skipped the starter, as we ended up with too many chips for two. The entree also came with chips, which I didn’t see mentioned on the menu. Cotija, a salty Mexican cow’s milk cheese that resembles feta, was sprinkled like snow over two soft corn tortillas filled with well-grilled garlic-lime steak, avocado cream sauce, cilantro, pico de gallo and a smattering of tomatoes. The dish’s almost delicate appearance belied its robust flavors. My entree, lime steak street tacos ($7.79), came from the “Flat Outrageous” section of the menu that lists new items. Happily, the entree came with more of that queso and guac, as well as sour cream, sliced jalapeños and diced onions and tomatoes. The crispness of the tortillas was a good contrast to the tender, smoky chicken. Moving on to the main meal, Jay enjoyed flautas ($6.79), two flour tortillas filled in his case with chipotle chicken and lightly fried and cut into wedges.
